Industry Leaders take on Regional Remit for Frontier Energy Network

Press Release
London, 7th September 2023

Since it was established in 2020, the Frontier Energy Network has quickly grown to become one of the energy industry’s most respected professional networks.

Developed for senior-level individuals who are driving change in energy, Frontier provides an exclusive community for members to connect, collaborate and get deals done. Its programme of member events and wider global summits has been recognised as setting the agenda for energy industry development across all sectors.

This activity has been instrumental in the growth of Frontier’s international network and reputation, leading to its appointment of a number of Regional Leaders, whose remit it is to act as local Frontier representation and point of contact for members, whilst encouraging further growth of member numbers.

Each Regional Leader has been chosen for the high regard in which they are held within their local region’s energy industry. They are:

Regional Leader South East Asia In Cross

Regional Leader South East Asia:

Ian Cross
Managing Director, Moyes & Co

Regional Leader Europe & UK:

Amalia Olivera-Riley
Executive Business Advisor, Subsurface Consultants & Associates

Regional Leader Sub-Saharan Africa:

Shakwa Nyambe
Founder and MD, SNC Incorporated

Regional Leader North America:

Jennifer Medcalf

Gayle Meikle, Frontier CEO, explains the critical role the Regional Leaders will play in the development of its global membership:

“Firstly, I must say how delighted I am to announce such a high-calibre group of Regional Leaders. These individuals are truly leaders in their field and bring with them outstanding professional reputations. The work that Ian, Amalia, Shakwa and Jennifer undertake synergises with all that Frontier stands for, and each has been appointed in recognition of their commitment to the sustainable development of their region’s energy industry.

“By appointing Regional Leaders, our existing international membership will benefit from an increased number of easily accessible events and region-specific market insight. Equally, our Regional Leaders will be also focused upon the growth of our regional membership, thus providing energy professionals in each area with an enhanced network and the associated benefits of increased connections and access to opportunities.”
